Westhampton

Westhampton, aka, the 1st Hampton for its western most locale, is one of the 18  hamlets that fall within the Town of Southampton. Surrounding the periphery of  the Village of Westhampton Beach, it runs both north and south of Montauk  Highway. A relaxed, casual hamlet boasting many tree lined streets with beautiful  foliage and delightful avenues many ending on the bay. Westhampton is home to  many, though not all, year-round residents compared to the seasonal Village of  Westhampton Beach. Real estate within this first Hampton hamlet includes  mainland and waterfront, attractive, single-family homes with generous lot sizes,  lovely landscapes and many differing designs and styles from lavish estates to  cozy get aways.

A favored spot perfectly located off the highway is the Westhampton’s Farmers’ Market Farm Stand, always stocked with a scrumptious array of in-season  vegetables, fruit, baked goods, flowers and even fresh seafood when in season.  New to the area is the adorable, albeit a bit pricey, Three Ducks Hotel for those  looking for short stays. Residents enjoy an active outdoor lifestyle with nearby  sports facilities, including the Westhampton Beach Tennis Club. This tennis club  has 24 Har-Tru tennis courts, 16 Pickleball courts, a Padel court along with a  variety of programs for both children and adults. Getting to the waterways and  beaches is easy from Westhampton due to its proximity to the renown Dune Road.  Village, Town and County beaches are available along its length and are the main  draw for those loving to run, walk and bike ride along Dune, admiring all the homes  before hitting the beach.
