How lucky are we to experience the start of another summer here in the Hamptons?! The trees are greener, the air is saltier and cool, flowers are blooming and so much is happening, everywhere!
As the official start of the holiday season out here is just a week away, there is much happening locally. Schedules are out, events planned, tickets are ready for purchase, beach passes await...it is going to be another stellar year here, for sure.
With much happening on the macroeconomic front, the market remains very good both in sales and rentals, the latter seeing a bit of a drop and then a lot of activity. Mortgage demand from homebuyers rose for the second straight week, suggesting that potential buyers are now more enticed by the increasing supply of houses for sale than they are dissuaded by recent economic uncertainty and concern over tariffs. Total mortgage application volume rose 1.1% last week compared with the previous week. (CNBC)
With Summer on the minds of many, and Europe so darn hot, there is plenty of reason to stay local. There are still great rentals available, something for everyone. We can't wait to speak with you more on where you want to be this summer.
